Kay Francis Photo Gallery: Cattleya Alwynii
Parentage: C. Amabilis × C. Enid
Kay considered this a Laeliocattleya, spelling the name Allynia, Alwynii, Alwynne, and Alwinii. She obtained back bulbs of a cultivar 'Jane Froman', probably in 1957, but the plant proved "no good" and the entry was lined out. In 1960, she obtained a form listed as "John's" from the Westenberger's. There seem to be no known awards or published images, and her excellent slide may be the only known photograph.
