Kay Francis Photo Gallery: Cattleya intermedia aquinii
The earliest aquinii mentioned in Kay's notes came from Emerson "Doc" Charles in 1960. Kay also received C. intermedia aquinii, 'Ross' variety, from Jerry Kulaja on June 25, 1968. Other notes suggest she must have had at least one seedling of a selfing cross of aquinii, source unknown. The 'Ross' cultivar appeared in Jones & Scully catalogs in the mid-1970's, but we did not discover its origin.
