Judging from how often she photographed this cultivar, it seems to have been her favorite white Cattleya. She often notes that it was an awarded clone — AM/AOS and AM/ODC November 10, 1958 at Hollywood monthly judging, exhibited by the Westenbergers. She might have obtained it from Hans Gubler, who made several crosses with it, but it seems most likely she got it from the Westenberger's. She sent a five-bulb division to Jerry Kulaja in May, 1967, and she received another awarded cultivar from Jerry in June, 1968 — the only other awarded cultivar was 'Rivermont', AM/AOS August 8, 1956, Miami monthly judging, exhibited by Rivermont Orchids.
