Kay's notes include one mention of this variety. She purchased it from Robert Hanlon of Pacific Palisades, CA for $5.00, along with what might have been the original cultivar C. trianae var. Blue Bird for $20.00 and several other plants, this hand-written receipt unfortunately not dated.
