Label on the slide appears to read "Lc. Max Schurg", but there is no registered hybrid of that name, August, 1964. Kay's spelling was sometimes inaccurate, but the closest match we could find is Lc. Max Scheinuk, an Armacost hybrid registered in 1968, for which no photographs or other references are known, and whose parentage does not suggest this result.
