Pot. Inferno, November, 1965. Kay labeled the slide Lc. Inferno, but the hybrid of that name was not registered until 1985, in Germany. A more timely origin, and much closer to home, would be Pot. Inferno (Slc. Fire Queen × B .c. Dante), registered in 1954 by Gilbert L. Raasch of Pasadena, CA. Kay obtained several plants from Mrs. Raasch (1956-1960, in Kay's notebook recording her acquisitions during those years) and might have obtained this one from her as well.
