Cattleya skinneri 'Casa Luna' 'Linda Vista' CCM/AOS, April 17, 1970. Award slide from the San Diego County Orchid Society Show, exhibited by Fred and Kay Francis. The award found its way into AOS records as cultivar 'Casa Loma Linda Vista', but it appears the plant is in fact a division of the well-known Cattleya skinneri 'Casa Luna', which has received several awards including a CCM/AOS in 2007 for a specimen with 548 flowers. Kay apparently dubbed her division 'Linda Vista', in effect, a cultivar of a cultivar.
