Lc. Helen Asder 'Linda' ? , December, 1972. There are several slides showing this plant, not all from the same roll of film, with the same label. The cultivar 'Linda' was exhibited on August 8, 1958 at Hollywood monthly judging and was awarded HCC/AOS. At that time, descriptions for HCC awards were not recorded by AOS; however, the description was published in the September, 1958 OSSC newsletter: "Two flowers with brilliant yellow sepals and petals. Dark red lip[ having deep gold throat with longitudinal striations." Absent any other references to this cultivar, we strongly suspect that Kay's slides of this plant were mislabeled.
