Lc. Prism Palette 'Kay Francis', November, 1978. Kay originally labeled this slide as cultivar 'Christmas Candy', which from other images is extremely similar or possibly even indistinguishable, then crossed that name out and wrote 'Kay Francis', in apparently the same ink. The label also notes, "A Champion". The same central flower is identifiable in another slide from the same roll, which Kay has labeled 'Kay', and "Extra fine / 7 flowers". For the purpose of cultivar names, she regarded 'Kay' and 'Kay Francis' as equivalent.
