Current nomenclature: C. Bonanza (Bracey)
Kay had trouble spelling Bonanza, frequently rendering it Bonzano etc. Like many growers in the 1950's and '60's, she found an unnamed seedling that turned out very well! The cultivar 'Giant' AM/AOS was exhibited by Ben Bracey January 9, 1956 at Hollywood monthly judging. Kay obtained a division from the Westenberger's in October, 1958.
