Kay obtained this plant from Armacost & Royston, in bloom with three "excellent" flowers, on July 25, 1956. It bloomed again with three "excellent" flowers December 26, 1956, two more "excellent" flowers on February 16, 1957, and then she divided the plant on February 28, 1957.
