Kay seems to have acquired this plant from the Westenberger's in February, 1958, but the source is somewhat vague (KF VII / A / 2 p. 23). By May 25, 1959, the plant had two "very good" flowers, and on January 10, 1960 two more, "excellent", and on April 28, 1960, two more, also "excellent".
