Paphiopedilum x (linii x appletonianum) [or Paphiopedilum x siamense?] R69T1, February 1969, roll 196902H5 slide 17. The collection number indicates that Ray Rands imported this plant from Thailand in 1969. It was apparently regarded at that time as a natural hybrid between Paphiopedilum linii and appletonianum. It may be the natural hybrid known since 1896 as Paphiopedilum x siamense.
