Kay Francis Photo Gallery: Lowara Spitfire ?

Current nomenclature: Rlc. Spitfire
While there is no mention of this plant in Kay's notes, and the slides are not labeled, there is a very strong resemblance to Lowara Spitfire 'Red Hot', a plant exhibited in 1975 by Norito Hasegawa. This hybrid was registered in 1960 by Fred A. Stewart, Inc. More research is needed.
